iWISH is committed to forging strong links with society by developing committed collaborations with patient associations. Together, we are working to better understand their needs, strengthen their support and advance women’s health.

SOS Préma

Founded in 2004 by Charlotte Bouvard, SOS Préma is an association that helps families cope with prematurity and neonatal hospitalization. It offers support, advice, guidance, psychological help and personalized accompaniment.
SOS Préma fights to give all premature babies the best possible chance of growing up.

Grossesse et santé contre la prééclampsie

Grossesse Santé is an association of women who have experienced pre-eclampsia. It works to disseminate reliable information about this serious complication of pregnancy, and to raise awareness of the risks during future pregnancies as well as the long-term health consequences for the women concerned. Furthermore, it promotes research into its prevention, diagnosis, and management of pre-eclampsia.

EndoFrance

Founded in 2001, EndoFrance is the first French association dedicated to the fight against endometriosis. Approved by the Ministry of Health since 2018 and by the Ministry of Education since 2024, it offers support and information to endometriosis sufferers, drawing on the expertise of its Scientific and Pluridisciplinary Council, the association has been funding research projects since 2016, and works with health authorities to improve management of this disease.

Maman Blues

The Maman Blues association, chaired by Élise Marcende, supports, listens to, advises and guides mothers experiencing difficulties in living their parental experience. It also informs and assists health, social and early childhood professionals in preventing and treating maternal difficulties. It works to raise awareness on maternal suffering and its consequences for mothers, children and families. The association encourages the creation of networks between professionals, promotes the sharing of experiences and stresses the importance of training healthcare professional. Finally, it promotes a vision of maternity based on co-responsibility and co-vigilance.

11 juin 2025 – Recherche en endométriose : Regards croisés d’une biologiste, d’une sociologue et d’une association de patientes

Le mercredi 11 juin 2025, l’Institut Interdisciplinaire Santé des Femmes – iWISH a organisé un webinaire consacré à la santé gynécologique, en particulier à l’endométriose. Cette maladie chronique se caractérise par la présence de tissu semblable à celui de l’endomètre – normalement localisé à l’intérieur de l’utérus – en dehors de celui-ci. Implanté à des endroits inhabituels (comme les ovaires, les trompes ou le péritoine), ce tissu réagit aux variations hormonales du cycle menstruel et provoque une inflammation chronique. La rencontre a proposé une approche interdisciplinaire de l’endométriose, en croisant les savoirs scientifiques, les analyses sociologiques et les vécus des patientes.
